JKP XI faces Rehari Club in Third Eid Diwali T20 Cup final

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) XI shall be playing against Rehari Club in the title clash of the Third Eid Diwali Twenty20 Cricket Cup at Gulshan Ground, here on Monday at 11:30 AM.
In the semifinals, played on Sunday, JKP XI defeated ICC XI by a huge margin of 81 runs. Batting first, JKP made 236 runs losing four wickets. Vishwajeet played brilliant innings of 30-ball 88 runs while Jatin contributed 36-ball 66. Rajesh Gill added 30-ball 40 runs to the total. Ankush secured two wickets while Aslam and Arjun shared apiece each for ICC XI.
In reply, ICC XI could not chase the total and were bowled out for 155 runs in 19.2 overs. Sahil (44), Atul (32) and Amit (22) were the main scorers. Vishwajeet emerged as most successful bowler for JKP with three wickets. Vishal and Rompy shared two wickets each. Later, Vishwajeet Singh was declared Man of the Match.
In other semifinal, Rehari Club scripted a comfortable five-wicket win against KC Sports Club.
Earlier, batting first, KC Sports Club scored 164 runs for the loss of four wickets with Arjun Choudhary (54), Ateev Saini (46), Abhishant (39) main contributors to the total. Rahil took two wickets, followed by Rohit and Jatinder, who shared apiece each for Rehari Club.
In reply, Rehari Club chased the total in 19.1 overs with five wickets in hand.
Parveen Singh played superb innings of 63 runs while Shehzad and Gokul contributed 24 and 21 runs respectively. Vivek bagged two wickets. Noushad and Arjun Choudhary took one wicket each. Parveen Singh was declared Man of the Match.
Meanwhile, in a last league match, Aircel Club defeated Royal Cricket Club by 17 runs. Batting first, Aircel made 113 runs, which, in reply, Royal could not chase and bowled out for 96 runs.
