JAMMU: Expressing resentment over the decision of J&K Bank to wind up football team, Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary J and K Olympic Association on Tuesday said that Bank has played important role to encourage the game of football in the State and provided employment opportunities to lot of sportspersons. He requested the bank authorities to review the decision which is against the spirit of sports. Dr. Sharma also requested the Secretary J and K State Sports Council to request bank authorities to continue with its mission to support the game and sportsmen. He said that in the past J&K Bank has sponsored so many State and national events and he was shocked by the decision.
