JKNTUF appeals Anganwari workers to participate in protest on April 11

JAMMU: J and K National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) is going to hold protest in front of Divisional Commissioner Office, Panama Chowk, Jammu on 11th April to pressurise the State Government to desist from its anti-working class and delaying policies.
While addressing a press conference here today, veteran trade union leader Mohammad Gafoor Dar, who is State President JKNTUF criticised the delaying policies of State Government and said that it miserably failed to settle the issues of thousands of Anganwadi workers, helpers, ASHA workers, need based and casual labourers.
The leader appealed to Anganwadi workers and helpers to participate in the protest in large numbers to make it successful.
“The Anganwadi workers and helpers who have been struggling since a long through press and platform will be left with no alternative except to intensify agitation” Gafoor Dar said adding that it is very unfortunate that despite repeated requests and assurances, nothing positive has come out regarding enhancement of honorarium and framing of separate recruitment rules of ICDS Mission, thus forcing them to come on streets.
Gafoor Dar warned the State Government and ICDS authorities to settle their demands without any further delay.
Mahjabeen, Juli Pandita, Salooni Bhat, Surinder Kour, Naida Akhter, Princy Bhat, Santosh Kumari, Pinki Devi
and Renu Devi were
also present in the press conference.
