JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Saturday kick started Public Awareness Campaign, here.
Hundreds of Panthers Party activists assembled at Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga in Jammu and started ‘Public Awareness Campaign’ in the heart of the city spearheaded by Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP, Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP and Yashpal Kundal State President Young Panthers and other leaders.

While addressing the media, Harsh said that the people of Jammu region had voted BJP to power with a overwhelming mandate in the last Assembly elections.
He lamented that unfortunately none of the saffron party’s MLAs could rake up the voice of the people in the Assembly which has immensely dented Dogra pride and honour adding that BJP had pusillanimously surrendered all the Jammu related issues before the Kashmiri leaders only for the lust of power where as JKNPP is the only party which had been persistently fighting for the cause of Jammu Pradesh in letter and spirit.
He said that Panthers Party had proven its allegiance to the people by lodging several protests on the Jammu centric issues pertaining to restoration of AIIMS to Jammu, Smart City for Jammu, regularisation of services of daily wagers and contractual employees working in various government departments, regularisation of services and release of salaries of ReT teachers, temporary teachers, SPOs, NYC volunteers and other lower rung employees, delimitation of Assembly constituencies, relief and rehabilitation of border residents, adequate compensation for Jammu farmers, One Time Settlement package for POJK migrants, conferment of State Subject Rights to West-Pak refugees, abolition of Custodian Deptt, 33 per cent reservation to women in J and K Legislative Assembly, Dogra Certificate for Jammu youth, Abolition of interviews of class III and IV posts, Inclusion of pre-2009 Ph.D scholars in the PSC interviews for the post of Assistant Professors, release of teachers select list of Jammu and Udhampur Districts, tenure of B.Ed course in Jammu region at par with Kashmir region, tourism development of Jammu Pradesh, restoration of Dogra pride and honour besides others.
Mankotia and Kundal said that JKNPP had been fighting for the cause of Dogras right from the time of its inception.
