JKiians shine in Open District Judo Championship

JAMMU: The JKiians left no stone unturned in the field of sports. The students of JK Public School, Kunjwani participated in the Open District Championship bringing accolades for themselves and the school. The championship was organised at MA Stadium from 9th to 10th December by the J and K Judo Association.
The students from Classes III, to VIII participated in the championship and won medals in different categories.
Suhana Wani of Class IV bagged gold medal. Kankshit Chanyal and Divya Phagetra of Class III and Sunakshi Devi of Class VI won silver medals.
The students who won bronze medal were Agrasya Sumbria, Daksh Sharma, Manvi Mehra, Akshit Verma from Class III, Udayvir Singh Jamwal from Class IV, Prabhjot Kaur from Class V, Sehrish Wani, Hirdesh K. Damathia and Harshdeep Singh of Class VI, Pranav Meenia, Dananjay Singh, Dheeraj Bhardwaj and Hitesh Paul Soodan from Class VII, Mudit raina, Nishant Changotra and Sujal Magotra from Class VIII.
The achievers were felicitated in the morning assembly for their brilliant performance and bringing good name to the school. The Coach Rajesh was appreciated for his guidance and channelising the students’ energy into right direction.
