JKIIANS shine in 22nd J&K UT Athletics Championship, division level football competitions

JAMMU: In the 22nd J&K UT Athletics Championship held at Jammu University on August 20 and 21, 2024, JK Public School Kunjwani won three gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
The winners were Saksham Gupta- Gold Medal in Shot Put, Digvijay Singh- Gold medal in Long Jump, Payal Kumari-Gold Medal in High Jump and Bronze Medal in 100M, Saksham Gupta-Silver Medal in Discuss Throw and Mustavid-Bronze Medal in High Jump.

Two athletes of JKPS Kunjwani, Saksham Gupta and Digvijay have been selected for North Zone competitions. In the Inter-Distt Divisional level Football Competitions Boys (U/14), Prabhat Singh and Ansh from JK Public School Kunjwani played in the Jammu Distt Team and won the final match. Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and Principal JK Public School Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the School Assembly. They also lauded the School Athletics Coach Shivdev Singh, Football Coach Elija Sotra and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for preparing the students for the competitions.
