JAMMU: In the J&K UT Javelin Throw Championship, organized by J&K Amateur Athletics Association at University of Jammu on August 7, 2024, JK Public School Kunjwani won two gold and two silver medals.
The winners were Antriksh Bhagat (U/14), Gold Medal, Krishav Saini (U/20) Gold Medal in Javelin Throw, Suryavansh (U/16), Silver Medal and Lovish Rathee (U/16) Silver Medal in Javelin Throw.
In the Inter-District School Games Taekwondo Championship 2024-25, held at Khel Gaon Nagorta from 01 to August 6, 2024, JK Public School won one gold, three silver and one bronze medal.
The winners were Namanpreet Singh Bali – Gold Medal, Aarav Verma – Silver Medal and Shine Gupta Gupta-Bronze Medal in the U/14 Boys category.
Rudraaksh Mahajan won Silver Medal in U/17 Boys Category and Samaira Khajuria won Silver Medal in U-17 Girls Category.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Educational Society and Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the morning assembly.
They also lauded the School Coach Shivdev Singh, Pawan Kumar and HOD Sports Subash Chander for training the students.
