UDHAMPUR: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum (JKGLTF) was held under the chairmanship of Purushtoam Singh in Udhampur on Saturday. In which they highlighted their long pending demands and urged the Finance and Education Minster to pay due attention to their genuine issues.
Singh urged the Finance and Education Minister to consider their genuine demands. Forum urged the Govt. to release grants for teachers and masters working under NPS, SSA and RMSA, ensure smooth system to release their salaries, release of funds for mid day meals and many more.
Forum also criticised the New Recruitment Policy of the Govt. and termed it utterly against the youths. Others who spoke in the meeting include Ravinder Kumar, Vivek Gupta, Sarvjeet Singh, Ashisha Sharma, Govind Singh, Jatinder Singh, Naresh Abrol, Sham Sharma, Sohan Lal, Ajeet Gupta, Satish Raina and Kusam Lata.
