JAMMU: The government promoted eleven Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers to the Selection Grade.
“Sanction is accorded to the promotion of eleven officers to the Selection Grade of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service [Level 12 (78800-209200)], prospectively from the date of issuance of order,” read an order issued by M. Raju, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD).
The promoted officials include Parvaiz Rahim, Zakir Hussain, Mudasir Ahmad, Mohsin Raza, Deebah Khalid Peer, Aijaz Ahmad Shah, Mohd. Idrees, Bashir Ahmad Lone, Gulzar Ahmad Rather, Athar Amin Zargar, and Sanna Khan.
Consequently, Zakir Hussain, Mohsin Raza and Aijaz Ahmad Shah, are designated as Additional Secretary to the Government in the respective departments and rest of the officers shall continue at their present place of posting, till further orders, the order further reads.
As per separate order, Majad Jhangir, has been promoted to the Selection Grade of the Jammu & Kashmir Administrative Service [Level 12 (78800-209200)], prospectively from the date of issuance of order. Consequently Majad Jhangir has been designated as Additional Secretary in the J&K Public Services Commission.
According another order, five officials have been promoted to the Special Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).
“Sanction is accorded to the promotion of Vinod Kumar Behnal, Sajid Yehaya Naqash, Natasha Kalsotra, Krishan Lal and Nazir Ahmad Mir to the Special Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service [Level 13 (123100-215900)], prospectively from the date of issuance of order,” it reads.
Consequently, Krishan Lal and Nazir Ahmad Mir, presently functioning as Additional Secretary, are designated as Special Secretary in their respective departments and rest of the officers shall continue at their present place of posting, till further orders.
“In terms of Non-Functional (Monetary) Scheme (NFS) notified vide SRO-198 dated April, 25, 2018, sanction is accorded to the release of Special Scale (Non-functional) of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service [Level 13 (123100-215900)] in favour of Narayan Dutt, JKAS with effect from January 1, 2023,” reads another order.
