JAMMU: Aijaz Qaiser, a 2008 batch JKAS officer, presently posted as Additional Secretary Information Technology Department has been honoured with the prestigious Delhi Star Award 2023 in the category of distinguished public service.
The award, presented by Adhikar Manch & Punjab Kesari Media Group, recognises outstanding individuals across diverse fields for their exceptional contributions to society.
This annual award giving accolade, now in its 23rd year, celebrates innovators and contributors who have made a significant impact in their respective domains.
The impressive ceremony of Delhi Star Awards 2023 was held at NDMC Convention Center Connaught Place New Delhi.
The awards were given away by the Bollywood actor Raza Murad and politician, singer and actor serving as a Member of Parliament from North East Delhi, Manoj Tiwari.
In recognition of the selfless services earlier in the J&K Police on anti-terrorism front and later in the state bureaucracy, Aijaz Qaiser was honoured with the Delhi Star Award 2023 in an impressive function at New Delhi .
Among others who received the awards are BJP MP from Azamgarh of Uttar Pradesh and Bhojpuri Star Dinesh Lal, Yadav Nirhua for being the best parliamentarian. Jaspal Singh, presently serving as Director General of police Goa for his distinguished police services. Special CP law & order in Delhi Depender Pathak, Virender Sachdeva BJP president New Delhi, Anand Ranganathan scientist & an award winning writer, Professor Dr Milind Houte a noted cardiologist in AIIMS New Delhi and Dr Suryasnata Mohanty, a distinguished Odia artist.
