JKAACL, PG Dogri celebrate Dogri Manta Divas

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with PG Department of Dogri, University of Jammu organised Dogri Kahani Ghoshthi to celebrate Dogri Manta Divas at the Seminar Hall, Department of Dogri.
Prof Kedar Nath Sharma, HOD, PG Department of Sanskrit, University of Jammu presided while Dr Sushma Sharma, HoD, PG Department of Dogri, Dr Rattan Basotra, Assistant Editor, JKAACL, Prof Archana Kesar and Prof Shiv Dev Manhas were also present in the presidium.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof Kedar Nath Sharma complimented all the short story presenters and said that the Dogri short story being written have produced number of classic short story writers who enriched Dogri language and literature. He also applauded the role of JKAACL for organising regular activities and said that all the departments of literature and culture are being properly looked after.
Dr Sushma Sharma, HoD, Dogri Department complimented all the Dogri writers and Jammuites on Dogri Manta Devas and said that all the institutions and departments should work hard for preservation and development of Dogri language and literature.
The short stories were presented by Krishan Sharma, Santosh Sangra, Radha Rani, Ashu Sharma and Sonia Jasrotia. The proceedings of the programme and vote of thanks were presented by Dr Rattan Lal Basotra, Assistant Editor, JKAACL.
