JKAACL condoles demise of Sudarshan Rattanpuri

JAMMU: J and K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) on Saturday condoled the demise of Sudarshan Rattanpuri, a prominent Dogri Short Story writer, founder member and editor of weekly newspaper Parchol.
Additional Secretary JKAACL Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn said that Cultural Academy has lost a prominent writer and a wonderful personality. There are three short story books to his credit namely ‘Addhi Batten Di Puri Kahani’, ‘Ik Singhasan’, ‘Panjahen Da Note’ and ‘Kaltara’ a collection of poems and ghazals.
Senior Staff of Cultural Academy including Dr. Lalit Magotra, Prof and Farooq Fayaz were also present. They also prayed to almighty to give peace to the departed soul.
A tribute to the deceased was paid by observing two minutes silence.
