JAMMU: The Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir has announced selection trials-cum-coaching camp for the formation of the J&K UT Youth Men Volleyball Team that will participate in the 26th Youth National Volleyball Championship scheduled to be held at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from March 15 to 20, 2026.
According to the Association, the selection trials will be conducted on February 20 and 21, 2026, at the MA Stadium, Jammu, from 2:00 PM onwards on both days.
Talented young volleyball players from across the Union Territory are expected to participate in large numbers to secure a place in the UT team.
Players born on or after January 1, 2005, will be eligible to take part in the trials. All participants have been advised to bring original documents for verification, including a Date of Birth Certificate with photograph duly attested by the Head of the Educational Institution or a Medical Certificate issued by a Government of India-approved hospital. Participants must also produce their Domicile Certificate and Aadhaar Card at the time of reporting. Following the trials, selected players will attend a coaching camp from March 1 to March 11, 2026, at the M.A. Stadium Sports Complex, Jammu. The camp will focus on intensive training, team coordination, and match preparation to ensure strong performance at the upcoming national championship.
