UDHAMPUR: J&K UT shooters clinched gold medals in 11 India Open Competition orgainzed by National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range New Delhi from March 1 to 7, 2023.
Sharp shooters who clinched gold medals for JK UT include Vishal Sharma, Shamsher Singh and Heemanshu Kumar
Shooter Vishal Sharma was selected in top 8 shooters and competed with world champions. He got overall 5th rank in the all India competition.
All these three shooters got training under the guidance of coaches Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh in Mission Olympic Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ). S.S. Sodhi President JKRA and DySP Sharat Chander Singh CEO JKRA congratulated the shooters for their victory and give best wishes to them for forthcoming competitions also.
