Official Mourning as a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
As a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland who has passed away on 8th September, 2022, the Government of India has decided that there shall be one day State Mourning on 11.09.2022 throughout the country. It has been decided that:
- The National Flag shall fly at half-mast during the Mourning on all buildings and places where it is flown regularly; and
- There shall be no official entertainment during the Mourning.
These decisions are brought into notice of all the concerned for information and necessary action.
