JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) will hold a pen down strike on 12th May, 2015, against the State Government for not releasing the salaries of teachers working under SSA and RMSA for the last eight months.
A session of J and K Teachers Forum was convened under the chairmanship of EJAC President and Chairman of the Forum, Abdul Qayoom Wani here on Sunday. The session deliberated on the strategies made for getting the pending salary of teachers working under SSA and RMSA for the last eight months released.
“The protest shall be held on 12th May at district headquarters and on 13th May the black flags shall be hoisted on schools,” he added.
The Chairman Teachers Forum held the HRD Ministry and the State Government equally responsible for non-payment of salary to SSA and RMSA employees.
