JK Teachers Forum felicitates Peer Nissar Ahmad on his elevation as Vice President, Media Advisor EJAC

JAMMU: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum hailed the elevation of Peer Nissar Ahmad as Vice President and Media Advisor of (EJAC). The move was observed after the executive meeting of EJAC under the leadership of its President Mohd Rafique Rather in which State, Provincial and District office bearers of EJAC were nominated.
Pertinently Peer Nisar Ahmad Sr Trade union leader of J&K has served both the EJAC and Teachers Forum for last 23 years in various capacities. He was also a close associate of former president EJAC and Chairman JKTF Ab Qayoom Wani. Pir Nisar has also played a vital role in revamping program of Teachers Forum alongwith Chairman Mohd Rafeeq Rather . He will definitely bring new vigour to the organisation by his long experience in trade union.
JKTF welcomed and felicitated him on his elevation as Vice President and Media Advisor EJAC. He regaled the teaching fraternity with various interesting incidents and anecdotes from last so many years, be it any protest programme at Jammu, Srinagar, Distt Headquarters or any other move of the organisation towards raising the geniune and legitimate concerns of Teachers. Even he has been jailed several times alongwith Ab Qayoom Wani. Be it central jail Sgr, jammu or any police station in Kashmir, he was always seen there with other leaders. Not only this, Pir Nisar Ahmad faced lathi charge, coloured water canon and other hardships but stood like a rock everytime for the redressed of the genune issues of all employees of J&K. He is a brave, courageous and well known trade union leader familier all over J&K. Teachers Forum is enough fortunate to have such a dedicated and well wisher of Employees especially of Teaching community, always leading from the front in our organisation. Teachers Forum on behalf of entire teaching fraternity is feeling pride that a soldier has been honoured and regarded for his numerous sacrifices towards employees and Trade Unions.
Employees of J&K in general and Teachers of J&K in particular are thankful to all leaders of EJAC especially its president Mohd Rafeeq Rather for nominating (Pir Nisar Ahmad) as Vice president and Media Advisor of EJAC.
