SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday recorded 131 fresh Covid cases-22 from the Jammu division and 109 from the Valley– thus taking the total number of positive cases to 477644 in the Union Territory.
According to the daily Media Bulletin, out of 477644 positive cases, 1191 are Active Positive, 471671 have recovered and 4782 have died; 2350 in the Jammu division and 2432 in the Kashmir division. Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases, the Bulletin informed that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 40 cases, Kupwara 18, Budgam 16, Baramulla 13, Anantnag 06, Ganderbal 05, Pulwama 04, Bandipora 03 and Kulgam and Shopian districts reported two cases each during the past 24 hours. Similarly in the Jammu Division, Jammu reported 18 cases, Kishtwar 02, Samba and Ramban District one case each while no fresh case was recorded any fresh case during this period.
