JK Public School Kunjwani organises ‘badge ceremony’ for Student Council

JAMMU: The Student Council has become an integral part of school. JK Public School Kunjwani on Wednesday organised a mega Badge Ceremony for the members of the Student Council. The ceremony was very special for them as their parents and grandparents in some cases were also present to encourage them. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Raj Daluja, Chairman JK Educational Society, others present were Sara Daluja and Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society. The ceremony started with welcome address by the Principal, S.K Singh. He extended his heartfelt greetings to the parents of the council members. The school choir presented the school song which was followed by the felicitation of the council members and Oath Ceremony.
Brig. Sukhdev Singh, Director shared his inspirational words with the audience. He dwelt upon the sense of responsibility to be developed in the council members who were a link between the teaching fraternity and the students. He also congratulated the parents who had brought their children responsibly.
The Vice Principal, Puneet Kour presented the vote of thanks and congratulated the members by saying that they should shoulder the responsibility of being the role models for the whole school. The ceremony concluded with the entire congregation singing the national anthem in unison.
