JK Public School Kunjwani excels in National Sambo Karate Championship 2022

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani won 29 medals including five gold, nine silver and 15 bronze in National Sambo Karate Championship held from December 1 to 4, 2022 at Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The championship was organized by Sambo India Association affiliated to the International Sambo Federation and Sambo Union of Asia.
The winners include Kritika Sharma, Ahmed Ibtisam, Manan Singh, Dhairya Sheel Singh, Ujbal Saini, Ashish Nirankari (all Gold); Shivansh, Udhyotini Jamwal, Vipul Mina, Piyush Swaroop, Krish Jamwal, Rajan Singh Saini, Pratham Sharma, Jasleen Kour, Shivam Kapoor (all Silver); Aagamya, Vedanshi Mahajan, Yuvraj Singh, Syna Prajapat, Pihu Sharma, Shreyas K Sanjeev, Akshat Kumar, Bhavya Vikas, Arushi, Amayara Gupta, Ayush Khajuria, Samridhi Khajuria, Arvind Kumar and Momin Gafoor and Arvind Singh (all Bronze).
The School Director, Shashi Chaudhary and Principal of the School Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the school assembly.
The school Karate Coach Gopal Dass who has been awarded Diploma by the Sambo Association for this great achievement was also felicitated and applauded for preparing the children for National Platform.
Speaking on the occasionm Rajesh Rathore said that JK Public School is always known for its academic and sports excellence. We at JK Public School believe that Sports and games are the ways of boosting the children’s mental and physical development. It assists children to develop mental and physical toughness. Sports eliminate psychological exhaustion of the children. Sports establish a sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit.
