JAMMU: Mother’s Day 2024 is a special day dedicated to mothers and their motherhood. It is a day to express gratitude and respect to mothers and celebrate the profound impact of motherhood on individuals, families and societies worldwide. Let’s explore the date, history, significance, celebration and more surrounding the Mother’s Day .
The day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in high spirits and merriment.
Keeping this emotional bond in mind, the Pre – Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG toddler section of JK Public School, Kunjwani, Jammu had a special celebration on Mother’s Day. Teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child’s life through effective moral stories and video clippings.
The students of Pre Nursery, Nursery, LKG, UKG had something and unique to bring a smile on their beloved mother’s face. They passionately got involved in making beautiful cards for their mothers.
The children of 1st and 2nd of the Toddler World of JK Public School Jammu, zestfully participated in the dancing competition, ramp walk, singing competition organized in school.
The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances. Small kids along with their moms walked like models and did ramp walk to showcase their talent. The ramp walk was full of zeal and confidence and kept the audience hooked to the presentation. Our children performed with great courage and enthusiasm in singing program as well. Their innocent voices touched our hearts and left us speechless. Mothers were invited in the school and took active participation in variety of activities. It was a pleasure watching the dynamic and energetic mothers preparing something unique, something special. The outcome of their efforts was marvelous. This, being one of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss, was zealously enjoyed by one and all.
Director, JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary, on this special day, extended heartfelt wishes on ‘Mother’s Day’. She applauded the wonderful performances and acts to make this day flabbergasting. Toddlers’ Wing Coordinator, Shivangini Pandotra, presented a vote of thanks and spell bound the audience with her lovely words.
Overall, the event left an indelible mark on all the spectators!
