JAMMU: In a splendid confluence of spirituality and festivity, J.K. Public School, Kunjwani organized a special assembly to honour the revered occasion of Gurpurab and the joyous celebration of Children’s Day.

The event was filled with an atmosphere of heartfelt devotion, thoughtful reflection, and boundless cheer. The air was alive with excitement and reverence.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary, Principal JK Public School Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore, Vice Principal Roopinder Kaur, School Coordinator Inderjeet Kaur, Academic Coordinator Parvinder Kaur & Coordinator Primary wing Anju Raj.
The assembly opened with a serene prayer, enveloping the audience in tranquility and reverence, setting a harmonious tone for the day. In a tribute to Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings.
The students eloquently shared insights into the significance of Gurpurab, inspiring all to reflect on Guru Nanak’s timeless messages of compassion, humility, and oneness.
Adding to the spiritual ambience, senior students from class XI performed a soul-stirring Shabad and a melodious song dedicated to Guru Nanak Jayanti, each note evoking a deep sense of peace and devotion. The captivating renditions immersed the audience in the spiritual legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, filling hearts with a shared sense of reverence.
Shifting gears to celebrate Children’s Day, the assembly featured a lively poem by Rajni Sharma and a delightful skit performed by the teachers of primary wing, bringing smiles and laughter throughout the assembly. The teacher performed with their animated expressions and spirited enactment, brought forth the joy and innocence of childhood.
Adding to the musical delight, Aarti Tickoo’s song, enchanted the audience, wrapping them in melodious joy. The role of teachers in orchestrating this special assembly was invaluable.
The event reached its zenith with an inspiring address by Rajesh Rathore, Principal JKPS Kunjwani, who emphasized the importance of embodying the virtues taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji while cherishing the innocence and enthusiasm that Children’s Day represents.
The Principal’s words resonated with everyone, leaving a lasting impact. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem, as the students and faculty stood united in pride and patriotism.
