JAMMU: Girl Child Day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in India every year on 24th of January. It is reinforces the importance of girl child in our society.
The Primary Wing of JK Public School, Kunjwani observed this day by organising a special assembly on Tuesday. The programme commenced with a speech by students of Class II, highlighting the importance of the girl child in our society and giving out a message of equality between boys and girls.
The girls of Class II enacted as some famous women personalities of the world.
Afterwards, a quiz was organised for all the classes to check their knowledge on the subject.
Principal, S.K Singh, complemented the performance of the children.
