JAMMU: To honour workers for their contribution towards making our lives easier, JK Public School Kunjwani celebrated Labour Day on Wednesday with gusto recognizing the untiring services provided by the labourers to the society.
In a heartfelt acknowledgment of the unsung heroes behind the scenes, students of JK Public School Kunjwani extended their gratitude to the diligent Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), who put in their efforts to make the school look spic and span in all weather conditions.
Director, JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary thanked all the supporting staff for their dedicated efforts. Addressing each worker of the school she said “we are immensely grateful to the Multi Tasking Staff for their untiring efforts, which often go unrecognized. Their commitment to maintain cleanliness even in adverse weather conditions is commendable and plays a crucial role in upholding the standards of our institution.”
Students of Primary Wing felicitated the staff, present there, by presenting them with handmade cards as a token of appreciation and gratitude for their consistent efforts.
A small skit showcasing the hard work of these labourers, who makes our life easy, was presented. Some of them came forward and told the gathering as to how they put the school at their top priority, always. Later a group photograph was taken to capture this special day.
The theme of Labour Day 2024 is to ensure safety and health at workplace in a changing climate.
