JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates 76th Republic Day with patriotic splendour

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani commemorated the 76th Republic Day with grandeur and fervour leaving a lasting impression on all the spectators.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Satish Sharma, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, ARI & Trainings Departments, J&K.

The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sidharth Daluja, member of Management JK Educational Society, Vice Principal Roopinder Kour, School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour, Coordinator Primary Wing Anju Raj, Coordinator Toddlers World Shivangani Pandotra and Academic Coordinator Parvinder Kour along with staff and students.
The programme commenced with a heartfelt welcome address and the ceremonial flag hoisting by the Chief Guest where the Tricolour soared high, igniting pride and devotion in every heart.
Adding a unique touch to the celebration, the students adorned vibrant Tricolour caps, symbolizing the unity and diversity of the nation. The sea of saffron, white, and green caps waving in harmony created a breathtaking sight and amplified the patriotic spirit of the occasion.
The event commenced with the March past by little wonders of the Toddler’s World who charmed the audience with a perfect display of discipline and innocence.
A symphony of music followed with a band performance resonated the spirit of nationalism while the dance by Toddlers of Class UKG added a touch of joy and colour. The mesmerizing dance by Class II students was a visual treat leaving the audience spellbound.
The highlight of the event was the soulful rendition of patriotic songs by the Preparatory Wing, a performance that stirred emotions and inspired every soul to cherish the sacrifices made by our forefathers.
The crowning jewel of the day was the Tableau Display, a vibrant and thought-provoking showcase of India’s rich culture, heritage and achievements. The four houses of the school displayed four different themes wherein Tilak house presented a tableau celebrating India’s stride towards self-reliance and innovation; Bhagat Singh house represented an ode to the timeless traditions and cultural legacy that define our nation. A salute to the spirit of sportsmanship and the nation’s budding athletes was the theme represented by Tagore house and a magnificent tribute to the luminaries and treasures that make India shine on the global stage was represented by Radha Krishnan house.
Adding intellectual depth to the event was a compelling Speech by Omkeswar of Grade VII Galaxy, whose eloquence left the audience inspired. A Vote of thanks was presented by the Cultural Captain of the School to express gratitude to all contributors.
The presence of Satish Sharma elevated the event, as his words encouraged students to love their parents, keep their childhood alive and embrace their responsibilities as future torchbearers of the nation.
The program culminated with the declaration of results of the tableau presentation where first position in was bagged by Radhakrishnan house, second position by Tagore house and third position was shared by Bhagat Singh and Tilak house.
In Patriotic song competition first place was bagged by Bhagat Singh house, second place by Radhakrishnan house and third place was shared by Tagore and Tilak house, applauding the exceptional talents of the students, bringing the celebration to a fitting and emotional close.
