JAMMU: State President Pradesh Youth Congress, J and K, Shahnawaz Choudhary has been appointed as Convener of campaign committee of Indian National Congress for J and K Assembly elections 2014. His appointment was approved by Sonia Gandhi on the recommendations of Vice President AICC Rahul Gandhi, Incharge Youth Congress and Ambika Soni, AICC General Secretary Incharge J and K.
Shahnawaz Choudhary is the first Youth Congress leader who has been given the responsibility of such a prestigious post. He was given this responsibility based on his performance as State President of Youth Congress, National Secretary of Youth Congress and National General Secretary of NSUI.
Shahnawaz thanked Congress High Command for reposing faith and giving him such important responsibility. He assured the party leadership that he will visit every constituency of the State to mobilise youth in favour of Congress party.
