JK Police Public Schools felicitate students for academic excellence

JAMMU: J and K Police Public School, Miran Sahib organized a felicitation ceremony to honour the meritorious students in the school auditorium, here on Saturday.
IGP Jammu, Danesh Rana was the Chief Guest on the occasion and DIG Jammu, Shakeel Ahmed Beig was the Guest of Honour. Function began with a welcome song sung by a group of students of Class XII followed by welcome speech by the Principal Sanjeev Pradhan.
IGP and DIG gave away the Certificates of Excellence and trophies to the position holders and all the toppers.
Danesh Rana, in his message to the students, said that students should not become book worms but they should also participate in co-curricular activities.
“Parents should remain in touch with the teachers and the teachers should develop habit of reading books, newspapers, magazines etc. among the students,” he said.
While congratulating the students and their parents, IGP gave his valuable tips to the students for achieving their goals.
Principal also lauded the efforts of the students, teachers and their parents. The vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Anju Sharma.
Parshotam Sharma, Deputy Director RPHQ Jammu, Randhir Singh SP Hqrs, Jammu and Harjeet Singh SDPO RS Pura were also present.
