JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and candidate for East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi today criticized the National Conference (NC) and Congress for their failure to serve the people of Jammu and Kashmir during their decade-long rule in J&K for more than 70 years. He emphasized that these dynastic political parties have lost their relevance as they continue to prioritize their family interests over public welfare.
Speaking to media persons during the Amit Shah Rally in Jammu North Assembly segment, Yudhvir Sethi criticized the NC and Congress for their persistent focus on consolidating their family legacies rather than addressing the genuine concerns of the people. He declared that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have overwhelmingly rejected these parties, recognizing that their dynastic rule has only led to neglect and underdevelopment.
“The NC and Congress have proven time and again that their priority is their own political survival, not the well-being of the common man,” he said and asserted “Their outdated approach and self-serving policies have resulted in widespread disillusionment among the people. It’s time for a change.”
In a show of solidarity and support, Yudhvir Sethi along with over 5,000 supporters including Ex Corporators, Mandal Presidents, Booth Presidents, office bearers and party workers of East constituency joined Union Home Minister Amit Shah rally held at Manhas Sabha in the Jammu North Assembly segment.
He appealed to the voters to cast their ballots in favor of the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections, highlighting the party’s commitment to addressing the region’s pressing issues and promoting inclusive growth.
“The BJP stands for a future where development and public welfare are the cornerstones of governance. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir has seen transformative changes. Our focus remains on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and creating employment opportunities for all,” Sethi said.
The senior BJP leader urged voters to support the BJP in the forthcoming Assembly elections, emphasizing that a vote for BJP is a vote for a progressive and inclusive Jammu and Kashmir. “Our vision is clear and our commitment is unwavering. We are dedicated to making every constituency a model of development and ensuring that every citizen benefits from our policies.”
