J&K Peace T20 Championship Jammu Warriors, Jammu Sunrisers register wins

JAMMU: Jammu Warriors and Jammu Sunrisers registered wins in the ongoing J and K Peace T20 Championship for Jammu School boys at Parade Ground and Sehwag Academy Heritage School which is being organised by Vishal Cricket Club Jammu and District Sports Council Jammu in collaboration with Sehwag Academy
under the supervision of Rajesh Gill Former Ranji Player.
In Group-A match at Parade Ground, Jammu Warriors defeated Jammu Superstars by eight wickets.
Batting first, Jammu Superstars scored 95/6 in 18 overs. Sachin (30), Arya Sachivansh (18) and Swastik Sharma (10) were the main scorers. Laith August and Dhruv took two wickets each while Nityam picked one.
Jammu Warriors XI, in reply, achieved the target in the second last ball of the inning for the loss of five wickets. Dhruv (25), Harsh and Yuvraj ( 15 each ), Uttkarsh and Adhishwer (11 each) were the main scorers. For bowling side, Nalin took two wickets, Gurdaat, Smarpit and Yugan shared one each wicket each. Dhruv was adjudged Man of the Match.
In Group-B matchs at Sehwag Cricket Academy Heritage School, Jammu Sunrisers defeated Jammu Kings XI by 37 runs.
Batting first, Jammu Sunrisers scored 154 runs for loss of six wickets in 18 overs. Kartik (50), Daksh(45 ) and Shajad (41 ) were the main scorers. Uttkarsh took two wickets, Aryan and Dewats shared one each for opponent.
Jammu Kings, in reply, could not achieved the target and made 117 for the loss of six wickets. Surya(43) , Sourav (23) and Kanav (16 ) were the main scorers. Yuvraj, Atib and Kartik shared one wicket each. Kartik was adjudged the Man of the Match.
The matches were officiated by Sandeep Manchanda, Vinod, Zafar, Manjeet Singh and Suhail.
