J&K Peace T20 Championship Jammu Tigers, Jammu Kings script wins

JAMMU: Jammu Tigers and Jammu Kings registered emphatic wins in the ongoing J and K Peace T20 Championship for Jammu School boys at Parade Ground and Seh-wag Academy Heritage School, here on Wed-nesday.
The championship is being organised by Vishal Cricket Club and District Sports Council Jammu in collaboration with Sehwag Academy under the supervision of Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Player.
Batting first, Jammu Tigers scored 95 runs in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets, with Abay Tondon (40) and Anurag (20) were the main scorers. Arihan took two wickets, while Hanjala and Dewats claimed one each.
In Group-A match at Parade Ground, Jammu Tigers defeated Jammu Sunrisers by eight wickets.
Batting first, Jammu Sunrisers scored 48 runs in 19.3 overs for the loss of nine wickets, with Yuvraj (14) and Kartik (8) were the main scorers.
Moulik Jain took three wickets while Abay Tondon and Tushar shared two each and Umar took one.
Jammu Tigers, in reply achieved the target in the 13 overs for the lost of two wickets.
Arya Sachivanch (23) and Shavac (12) were the main scorers. From bowling side Varsal and Varinder took one wicket each.
Moulik Jain was adjudged Man of the Match.
In Group-B matches at Sehwag Cricket Academy Heritage School, Jammu Kings defeated Jammu Warriors by four wickets .
Batting first, Jammu Warriors scored 99 runs for loss of five in 18 overs, with Harsh (33), Dhruv (19) and Achintiya (16) were the main scorers. Uttkarsh took two wickets and Kanav picked one.
Jammu Kings, in reply, achieved the target in 18 overs for the loss of six wickets with Sourav (22) , Surya (13) , Uttkarsh and Zaffer (11 each) were the main scorers . Adhishwer took two wickets, Pujara and Dhruv shared one each . Uttkarsh was adjudged as Man of the Match. The matches were officiated by Sandeep Man-chanda, Vinod, Zafar, Manjeet Singh and Suhail.
