JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted a workshop on ‘Bank Branch Audit’ organised by Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of ICAI.
The Guest Speakers for the events were CA Rajiv Singh (Former Director Union Bank of India) and CA Anil Sharma (Former Director UCO Bank).
CA Rajiv Singh took the first technical session on Critical issues in Advances, IRAC norms & Audit documentations.
Second Technical Session was taken over by CA Anil Sharma where he gave a very detailed presentation on Long Form Audit Report.
CA Vikas Purdhani, Chairman of the branch welcomed the guest speakers, members and students and delivered the inaugural address.
CA Sourav Pargal, Secretary of the branch conducted the proceedings.
CA Vineet Kohli, Vice Chairmanof the branch presented the vote of thanks and other executive members CA Ayush Sawhney (Treasurer),Nakul Saraf (Immediate Past Chairman) and CA Priya Seht along with a number of Chartered Accountants were also present at the occasion.
