J&K girls lose in National hockey

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir suffered their second consecutive loss when they were beaten by Assam in their league outing in the ongoing Fifth Sub Junior Women National (Division-B) Hockey Championship at Ranchi in Jharkhand on Wednesday.
In today’s group-A league tie, Assam blanked J and K making it 6-0 (ht 2-0) in the game played in the afternoon session. Earlier, in the opening league match, played yesterday, J and K suffered a humiliating 0-27 defeat in the hands of Chandigarh Olympic Association.
