JAMMU: Yet another milestone by J&K Fencer in BRICS Games. Ace Epee Fencer of Jammu and Kashmir, Ajay Kumar brought laurels to the Country by winning Bronze medal in Epee Team Event in BRICS Games at Kazan Russia.
Pertinently Ajay Kumar has won medals in both the last edition of Senior and Junior National Fencing Championships while representing J&K. Besides, he also represented the Country in many International events like Asian Championship, Senior and Junior world cups. Ajay Kumar presently training at NCOE Patiala and a khelo India Athlete belongs to Reasi district of UT of J&K.
Nuzat Gul Secretary, J&K Sports Council applauded the efforts of the fencer by winning medal in the prestigious event .i.e BRICS Games and assured the JK Sports Council has left no stone unturned in promoting sports in the UT. She also congratulated Parents and coaches of Ajay Kumar for his excellent performance. Sports lovers and all fencing Fraternity congratulated Ajay kumar for his marvellous performances in the BRICS Games at Kazan Russia.
