JAMMU: J&K government Thursday announced to pay its employees Dearness Allowance (DA) at a hiked rate of 221 nine per cent, with an increase of nine percent to the existing rate of 212 percent. Revised rate will be effective from January 1, 2023.
As per an order issued by the Finance department, in continuation to Government Order No 23-F of 2023 dated February 6, 2022, the government employees continuing to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay scale/grade pay as per 6th Pay Commission recommendations, will be paid Dearness Allowance at a revised rate of 221 percent of Basic Pay from the existing 212 percent of Basic Pay.
