JK Educational Society celebrates Teachers’ Day with grandeur, reverence

JAMMU: JK Educational Society celebrated Teachers’ Day at Blue Moon Banquet Hall with great enthusiasm and reverence to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers and to pay tribute to the visionary who laid the foundation of the institution.
All Educational institutions i.e JK Public School Kunjwani, JK Public School Panjtirthi and JK College of Education, under the aegis of J K Educational Society, participated in the programme.
The day began with a solemn ceremony at JK Public School, Kunjwani, where a statue of Patron Davinder Daluja was unveiled.
Widely regarded as the brain behind JK Public School, Daluja’s vision, dedication, and personal touch transformed JKPS from a small sapling into a flourishing tree with branches spreading across the region. His dream of making JKPS the best in the state continues to live on through the school’s achievements and legacy.
The statue unveiling was attended by Patron Neelam Daluja; Chairman, JK Educational Society, Raj Daluja; Members of the Management Gautam Daluja, Sidharth Daluja; Sara Daluja; Chhavi; Bharat Chaudhary; Aakriti Abrol; Gaurav Abrol; along with the younger family members Waris Daluja, Prithvi Choudhary, Samarth Choudhary, and Vanshika Abrol who jointly unveiled the statue amidst a standing ovation.
Also present were Shashi Chaudhary, Director, JK Educational Society; Rajesh Rathore, Principal, JK Public School, Kunjwani; Suman Banbah, Principal, JKPS Panjtirthi; Vice Principals; Coordinators; and staff of JKPS Kunjwani, Panjtirthi, and JK B.Ed College, all institutions functioning under the aegis of JK Educational Society.
After the distribution of sweets, the faculty proceeded to Blue Moon Banquet Hall, where the annual Teacher’s Day celebration was hosted with great splendour.
The celebration witnessed the gracious presence of dignitaries from the JK Educational Society, along with Principals, Vice Principals, Coordinators, and the entire teaching fraternity which added to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Teachers showcased their talents through lively performances on evergreen retro songs, filling the hall with joy, music, and nostalgia.
To recognize and encourage the dedicated efforts of teachers, several prizes were distributed. The felicitation ceremony brought immense cheer and motivation among the faculty.
The celebration concluded with a sumptuous lunch, leaving behind cherished memories of gratitude, unity and celebration, while reaffirming the school’s commitment to carrying forward the legacy envisioned by its founding patron.
