Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Education Department has deputed a team of officials to spread awareness among students and teachers about child abuse and child protection.
To ensure zero tolerance against any kind of child abuse and to make the students stress-free, the Education Department has deputed a team of officials to sensitise students, teachers and heads of the institutions about child protection as well as psychological issues of students, according to an official release here.
The aim of this campaign is to spread awareness about issues related to child abuse, child protection, psychological sensitisation of students and teachers, assessment of guidance and counselling needs.
“The officials will gather feedback from the field to get knowledge about best practices,” it said.
It said that in the first phase of the campaign, 14 schools will be covered.
