JAMMU: As part of the curriculum, the students of JK College of BBA and BCA were taken to an industrial visit to Cadila Pharmaceuticals on Friday in SIDCO Complex, Samba, under the supervision of Amrik Singh, Lecturer JK College of BBA and BCA.
General Manager (HR and Admin), Brig. (retd.) S.K Chouhan briefed the students about the establishment and overall working of Cadila Pharmaceuticals.
Assistant Manager (HR), Ranbir Singh interacted with the students and gave them an insight of the manufacturing, production and packaging process of tablets, capsules and liquid orals.
The students were taken around the plant and showed various machines that work in coordination to improve the overall manufacturing process and ensures quality.
Head Engineer, Varinder Singh Sambyal briefed the students about the power consumption and corresponding working of machines.
The surroundings of the Cadila Pharmaceuticals were maintained in a very eco-friendly manner.
The overall visit was absolutely thought provoking and an incredible experience as well as eye opener and an experience of a life time for the students, learning about the process of pharmaceutical industry.
The students were highly impressed by the management of the company. This industrial visit proved to be very informative and educative for the students.
