J&K Bank rolls out revamped Credit Card suite

JAMMU: In line with its sustained thrust on digital innovation and customer-centric banking, J&K Bank today unveiled a comprehensively upgraded suite of Credit Cards designed to meet the fast-evolving preferences of its growing and diverse clientele across the country.

MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee launched the revamped Credit Card suite at the Bank’s Jammu Divisional Office in the presence of Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, CGM (Business Development) Sunit Kumar, General Managers, DGMs and other senior officers. CGM (Operations) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat joined the launch virtually from the Corporate Headquarters along with General Managers, DGMs and senior officers. The Divisional Heads, Zonal Heads and Cluster Heads form across the country also participated in the launch event through VC.
The upgraded products includes three distinct credit card variants – Platinum, Platinum Privilege and Eminent – each thoughtfully curated to align with different customer segments, spending behaviours and lifestyle aspirations.
Speaking on the occasion, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee said, “The upgrade of our Credit Card bouquet is part of our endeavour to position J&K Bank as a contemporary, pan-India digital banking partner of choice.”
“It reflects our sustained and strategic focus on continuously strengthening Bank’s digital product suite. As customer expectations evolve rapidly – particularly among younger, digital-savvy generations – we are committed to offering products that enhance rewards and lifestyle benefits for new-age customers”, he added.
Citing the growing customer base across Bank’s core geographies and expanding footprint beyond in rest of the country, MD & CEO emphasized upon the need to enhance Bank’s investments in digital capabilities that resonate with emerging consumption patterns across the country.
He further said, “Credit cards today are more than payment instruments; these are enablers of experiences. Through curated milestone benefits, accelerated reward structures, travel and lifestyle privileges, and competitive forex pricing, we aim to make our cards attractive and beneficial, especially for young professionals, entrepreneurs and tech-savvy people across India.” While commending the associated teams for coming up with such a competitive product suite, MD & CEO urged all the operational heads to market and sell the revamped products pro-actively. “We must view this as a significant opportunity to offer our customers products with best-in-class features, and I urge all our operational heads to ensure that we collectively deliver superior value and a truly differentiated experience to every customer,” he said.
Earlier, General Manager (Digital & Alternate Channels) Nishikant Sharma briefed the chair about the need for the upgrade in the product suite. He also touched upon the back-end preparations made to ensure successful roll-out of the revamped products.
Incharge (DAC) Humaira Mushtaq gave a detailed presentation on the occasion about the revamped credit-cards and their highly competitive features.
Notably, designed for the premium and affluent clientele, the Eminent Card delivers an elevated experience with highly competitive forex-charges of 1.99%, welcome benefits, milestone rewards for high quarterly and annual spends, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, personalised services, golf privileges, dining and entertainment offers including “buy one get one” movie benefits, and accelerated rewards on travel bookings, dining, apparel and electronics.
The Base Platinum Card, which has been tailored as an everyday companion for families, offers a balanced mix of affordability and value, with annual fee waiver on achieving Rs 1 lakh annual spend, welcome benefits, milestone vouchers for quarterly spends above Rs 75,000 across leading retail, travel and lifestyle brands, accelerated rewards on online transactions, pharmacies, department stores and utilities, along with domestic lounge access and monthly lifestyle benefits.
The Platinum Privilege Card has been specially designed for Government employees and comes with zero joining and annual fee, welcome benefits, highly competitive forex charges of 1.99%, quarterly milestone vouchers on spends starting from Rs 30000, complimentary domestic lounge access every quarter, monthly lifestyle discounts on leading food and lifestyle platforms, and attractive fuel surcharge waivers. Customers can also earn accelerated reward points on higher monthly spends.
