SRINAGAR: Winning their respective matches, J&K Bank and J and K SRTC XI on Monday qualified for the semifinals of the Kashmir chapter of the 24th State Football Championship underway here.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Jammu] and Kashmir Bank defeated District Football Association (DFA) Pulwama 6-1. Adnan, Shahid Mushtaq and Uneeb scored two goals each while Zahid Shafi netted the lone goal from DFA Pulwama.
Meanwhile, in another scheduled match of the quarterfinals stages, DFA Srinagar trounced J and K SRTC XI by a solitary goal. The lone goal for DFA Srinagar came in the first half. The lead could not be equalised by SRTC in other half.
FIXTURE: Food and Supplies shall meet DFA Sopore at 3:00 PM tomorrow.
