UDHAMPUR: All J and K +2 Lecturer Forum district Udhampur handed over cheques worth Rs 41,000 to the district administration for further distribution among the flood affected families of the district.
On the occasion, Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal thanked President of the Forum for donations. He impressed upon the Education Department to put in efforts to raise and mobilise resources to enable the district administration help the flood victims.
He also appealed to education community as well as other departments to come forward and contribute more and more for the recently affected victims of the district.
President All J and K +2 Lecturer Forum, Arunesh Kumar, General Secretary of Forum, Ashok Kumar, Vice President, Ashwani Kumar, Tehsil Head of the Forum, Mohan Lal Sharma and members of the forum were also present on the occasion.
