JAMMU: Junior Under Officer (JUO) of National Cadet Corps (NCC) Jigmat Diskit of 2nd J and K Girls Bn NCC, Jammu has got para wings after she completed her three para jumps at Para Jump Training School, Agra.
In this camp, 20 girl cadets from various part of India took part. Jigmat Diskit, daughter of Miepham Tamphel was the only cadet of Jammu and Kashmir selected for this camp after tough and extensive physical training, according to the Commanding Officer, Lt Gen A. Chakravarty.
She is a student of Part II of the Government College for Women, Parade. Principal at the College, Dr. Hemla Aggarwal and Lt. Suman Lata congratulated the cadet for her outstanding achievement.
