SRINAGAR: The Director Tourism, Farooq Ahmed Shah on Monday visited Peerzoo Island and took stock of the facilities available there for the visitors.
He said Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir will start the service of Jhelum River Cruise from Tuesday which will carry 16 passengers at a time.
He said that the service will start at three points which include Lal Ded Memorial Centre, Khanqah Moulla and Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA). He said tourist guides would also be available there for guiding the tourists. The cruise service would be available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily and per head Rs 300 would be charged.
