Jhajjar Kotli to be developed as major tourist spot: Wazir

JHAJJAR KOTLI: If voted to power, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate for Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Rakesh Wazir said he would develop Jhajjar Kotli as major tourist spot.
He also said that every effort would be made to enhance the compensation of land taken by National Highway authorities besides rehabilitation of the markets and people who had been unemployed due to the construction of this new highway.
Addressing a public meeting at Jhajjar Kotli, Wazir lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which represents this constituency and NC-Congress which are ruling this State since long for completely ignoring the tourist and religious spots of Nagrota constituency including Jhajjar Kotli.
Wazir further said these leaders did nothing else accept putting name plates and making false promises for different projects which never came to light.
Wazir said that though the compensation of the National Highway was to be paid by the Central Government but categorically the State Government recommended their rates for Jammu region so low that even the stamp duty and registration fee of lands if given free amounts more than the compensation paid to the people.
He asked the people to change these leaders for the betterment of the constituency.
The public meeting among others was addressed by Capt. Shiv Lal Dhingra, Satish Baru, Sonu Baru, Madhu Charak, Sanjay Singh, Raghuveer Singh, Tifru, Babloo and Kaka Ram.
