JAMMU: Thie-ves on Wednes-day decamped with jewellery worth lakhs from a car parked at Indira Nagar area of Jammu.
According to sources, one Sunder Singh, son of Kaka Ram, resident of Mankote in Mendhar, who came to Indira Nagar accompanying the Barat of his son namely Sanju has parked his car in the vicinity.
Taking advantage of situation, thieves broke the window glass and stole the jewellery items from the car. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station and inquest proceedings have been initiated.
