JAMMU: The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for J&K and Ladakh on Tuesday accorded an affectionate send off to member (Technical) JERC, Ajay Gupta, who attained superannuation today after serving in the Commission for about three and a half years.
Chairman JERC and Member (Finance) besides other the officers and officials of the Commission participated in the event and extended their best wishes to the retiree wishing him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life. They lauded the contribution of Ajay Gupta as Member (Technical) JERC for J&K and Ladakh.
Ajay Gupta had held various prestigious positions before joining the JERC on 28-08-2020. He worked as Member (Technical) in erstwhile JKSERC w.e.f. 26-06-2019 to 31-10-2019, Chief Engineer (M&RE) Jammu twice i.e. during 2008-09 and 2015, Chief Engineer Baglihar in 2009-10 and Executive Director JKSPDC from 2016- 2019 with additional charge of Development Commissioner (Power), J&K during 2018-19.
