Jerath Bali of GCW G’Nagar bags Inter-college debate

JAMMU: GGM Science College, Jammu, in collaboration with Power Grid Corporation of India and Vigilance Department organised an Inter College Debate competition here on Wednesday on topic ‘Is Education without Ethics and Morality Useless’. Students from various colleges of Jammu division participated in the competition.
On the occasion General Manager, PGCI, R.V.S Kushwaha was the Chief Guest while Dr. Satinder Singh, Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu was the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of morality and ethics in our lives. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Ruth K Maseshi, Convener Literary Committee. The welcome address was given by Prof Kiran Pathania. The first prize was bagged by Jeerath Bali of GCW, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu while second and third prizes were bagged by Harshita of GDC Akhnoor and Tanvi Mahajan of GDC, Kathua respectively. Consolation prizes went to Rupali, GDC, Kathua and Animesh Tiwari, SPMR College, Jammu. Proceedings of the programme were carried by Ankita Parihar, student of P.G English. Vote of thanks was presented by Sudhir Dhar, Chief Manager, Vigilance PGCI.
