JDA conducts anti encroachment drive in village Majeen, Rangoora, retrieves 80 Kanals land

JAMMU: In a major move against the encroachers, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Thursday conducted a massive anti encroachment drive in village Majeen and Rangoora of Tehsil Jammu during which 30 Kullas and 12 Pacca structures were removed from the JDA land, here on Thursday.
During drive, 80 Kanals JDA land has been retrieved and JDA sign boards installed and on spot work of fencing was started.
The drive was conducted by the concerned Tehsildar JDA with police coordination lead by SDPO Jammu East, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu, SDPO Nagrota and SHO Nagrota.
The drive was a major success conducted by JDA lead by Tehsildar JDA under the control of Director Land Management JDA and overall supervision of Vice Chairman JDA with active support of Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu. Tehsildar JDA gave a message to all such persons to refrain from encroaching/trespassing into JDA lands else they will have to face strict action.
