JAMMU: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Monday cleared 44 building permission cases at a Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) meeting held here under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman, JDA, Mubarak Singh.
In the meeting, a total 47 building permission cases were examined, out of which 44 have been cleared.
The BOCA meeting was attended by Director Land Management, JDA, Senior Town Planner, JDA, Executive Engineer PDD, three Executive Engineers of PHE Department and two Executive Engineers of Sewerage and Drainage Department, Jammu.
Further Vice Chairman, JDA/Chairman BOCA appealed to the public not to construct the buildings without getting their plans approved by the competent authority. To ensure planned and organised development, electric/water connection all type of constructions shall be sanctioned by the concerned departments only on the production of completion certificate of building issued by the competent authority.
