JAMMU: Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Friday cleared 22 building permission cases while rejecting four others, as they were found deficient in their documents.
Vice Chairman JDA, Mubarak Singh convened a meeting of Building Operation Controlling Authority (BOCA) in which out of twenty six cases of building permissions, 22 were cleared and four were rejected due to deficiency of documents and non conformity to bye-laws.
The meeting also decided to convene BOCA meetings on weekly basis for accelerating the process of building permissions and to ensure redressal of grievances of the general public on priority. Besides, meeting also cleared 65 No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for building permissions and forwarded the same to Jammu Municipal Corporation for building permissions.
