JAMMU: Jammu Citizens Forum (JCF) is organising a seminar on ‘ARTICLE 35A, BOON OR CURSE FOR JAMMU’ on August 6, 2017 at Amar Singh Club Auditorium.
This is yet another initiative of the Forum to deliberate upon the contentious issue that has been hogging headlines for some time with contrarian views emerging from the three regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Columnist Daya Sagar Sharma, Senior Advocate B S Slathia, former Member Public Service Commission, K B Jandial and former Head of Department Law, University of Jammu, Prof K L Bhatia will deliver lectures on the topic.
The seminar, being organised by Raj Daluja, Convener, Jammu Citizens Forum, will start at 11.00 AM.
Prominent citizens including retired bureaucrats, police officers, professors, advocates, intellectuals and businessmen of Jammu are attending the seminar. According to a spokesman of the Forum, the seminar is a part of series of initiatives taken during the past one year in highlighting issues concerning the Jammu and formulating strategies to safeguard the interests of the region.
The Forum has remained in the forefront to promote patriotic fervour among the people, isolate anti-national forces and, above all, to espouse the cause of Jammu region.
